Meet Michena Henderson, also known as Mickey. She is an MSW Student Intern at CCS Education and Wellness Center while completing her Master's Degree in Social Work  at Capella University. 

Mickey is known for being an empathetic, compassionate, friendly, and patient therapist. She specializes in working with children and adolescents, but she also works with adults, especially those attached to children. 

Mickey is also skilled in working with individuals with disabilities, including assisting clients facing new disabilities. She is also skilled and comfortable working with bariatric surgery clients, both pre and post weight loss surgery (WLS). Her focus is to create alliances that bring out the client's individuality. 

She creates an environment (even online) that ensures clients are comfortable, which allows  them to make the changes they want during the therapeutic process.  Mickey likes to call that work a journey. She helps clients determine and work toward their goals in their therapeutic journey.
